Following the success of WSM25, we return to London on Friday 4th December 2026, this year at One Birdcage Walk, Westminster.

Join colleagues from across the UK for a full day of the latest evidence, debate and practical learning in anaesthesia and perioperative care for people living with obesity.

This year we are expanding the practical elements of the meeting, with more hands-on workshops and breakout sessions, alongside expert talks, debates, new research and oral presentations.

Abstract submissions are now open for oral and poster presentation at the SOBA UK Winter Scientific Meeting 2026.

We welcome research, quality improvement, surveys, education projects, case reports and other work relevant to anaesthesia, perioperative medicine and the care of people living with obesity.
